Securely delivering the Right Information, to the Right People, at the Right Time, at the Right Bandwidth
Today there is an emerging security-centric market that requires deterministic data delivery and therefore a new approach to network and data security. This is where Stealth and Embvue's Isis solutions offer a truly secure way of deploying your network in compliance with two key Federal security certification standards: NSA CC EAL4+ and DO-178 Level A certifications.
Secure data delivery and network security
Heightened global and cross-industry sensitivity about network security has led to an explosion in requirements for secure networking solutions. The ability of an Ethernet network to detect a malicious threat, protect itself from it and keep all of the data safe is now a common requirement in almost every IT domain, especially where sensitive data and national security is at stake. Stealth (CC EAL4+) was specifically developed and certified to address this concern. Stealth's NSA certified solution provides defense level data protection for traditional secure Ethernet networking applications.
Additionally, such applications may, for instance, demand immediate network bandwidth availability to ensure the timely delivery of data to given network devices under specific conditions – a triggered burst of highly time-critical video data perhaps that must without fail reach its target destination in a predetermined period of time. This is especially critical in the aviation market where safety of flight is crucial. Such cases require different network architectures than have been traditionally afforded by secure networking solutions. Ethernet-based networks have become the adopted standard and the certification requirements of the aerospace market meant that a safe and deterministic way of deploying Ethernet networks had to be found. This is the market for which Embvue's Isis (DO-178 Level A Certifiable) was specifically developed. Since its initial adoption in the commercial aircraft market only a few years ago, AFDX (Aircraft Full Duplex Ethernet) has become universally accepted as the proven, safe, deterministic Ethernet standard.
In response, Embvue will be combining Stealth with its Isis solutions, so that Isis-enabled switch/routers and end point network stacks are integrated with a Stealth-secured network to provide the security and data delivery necessary for those agencies and companies with time critical or high bandwidth applications.
